1. Welcome to Punz
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Punz mobile applications, websites, services, and software (collectively, "Punz" or the "Service"). By creating an account, downloading the app, or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Punz. We encourage you to read these Terms carefully to understand your rights, responsibilities, and our operational standards.
2. Eligibility & Account Responsibility
To use Punz, you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age required in your country). You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or security compromise.
- You may not register multiple accounts for deceptive, abusive, or automated spam purposes.
3. Your Content & Intellectual Property Rights
You retain full ownership of all content you create and post on Punz. What belongs to you stays yours.
When you post public thoughts, photos, audio, or videos on public feeds or public channels, you grant Punz a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license strictly to store, display, and distribute that public content to other users as directed by your account settings. This license terminates automatically when you delete your content or delete your account.
We do not claim any ownership rights over your personal content, and we do not license your content to outside third parties or data aggregators.
4. End-to-End Encrypted Private Communications
Punz provides end-to-end encrypted private direct messaging, voice notes, and media sharing. You acknowledge that because encryption keys are stored solely on your device, Punz cannot retrieve or restore your private conversations if you lose access to your device without a local backup.
You agree to use private messaging responsibly and refrain from sending unsolicited automated spam, harassing communications, or malicious payloads.
5. Community Standards & Acceptable Use
Punz is designed as a calm, civil, and respectful social space. To protect our community, you agree not to use the Service to:
- Publish or transmit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, sexually abusive, or violently threatening material.
- Impersonate another person, entity, or brand in a deceptive or malicious manner.
- Distribute computer viruses, malware, trojans, or attempt unauthorized access to our infrastructure.
- Engage in automated mass-scraping, bot operations, or denial-of-service disruptions.
- Promote terrorism, child exploitation, self-harm, or targeted intimidation.
6. Moderation, Content Removal & Safety
To maintain a safe and healthy environment, we reserve the right to remove public content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our community standards. Wherever reasonable, we provide notice and clear explanations for moderation actions, alongside an appeal process for contested decisions.
7. Account Termination
You are free to stop using Punz and delete your account at any time through the in-app settings. Upon deletion, your personal credentials and public posts will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Punz also reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate these Terms.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Punz is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. The application and services are provided for community and social communication. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the project maintainers shall not be liable for any indirect or incidental damages resulting from your use of the Service.
9. General Provisions & Disputes
We strive to resolve any community or account concerns directly, fairly, and transparently. If you have an issue with the service or community rules, we encourage you to contact the team so we can address it amicably.
